The African Research Journal of Education and Social Sciences uses the following copyright provisions:

  1. Retained Copyright: ARJESS allows authors to retain the copyright to their work. This means that authors retain ownership of their intellectual property. However, the author gives exclusive right of use to the publisher. See Author Copyright Form
  2. Licensing Agreement: Authors grant the journal a license to publish their work. This license outlines the terms under which the journal can distribute, display, and reproduce the work.
  3. Open Access Licensing: ARJESS uses open access licenses, namely Creative Commons license, CC BY-SA (Attribution-ShareAlike) to define how readers can use the published work.
